What is UNFI Easy Options?
Welcome! UNFI Easy Options is an eCommerce extension of UNFI that serves small to medium size businesses by offering wholesale pricing with no minimum order or frequency requirements. Our flexible, self-service online ordering provides access to a wide assortment of grocery and wellness products with the benefits of faster account setup, credit card payment processing and flexible shipping. Please note that existing UNFI accounts will need to set up a separate UNFI Easy Options account in order to place orders on this website.
Do I need to have a business to purchase from UNFI Easy Options?
Yes. We sell exclusively to businesses and non-profit organizations, large and small, both tax exempt and non-tax exempt. We require that you provide your business information upon registering for an account with UNFIEasyOptions.com. Once we have verified that you are a business, your account will be approved and you can begin placing orders. Account approval may take two to five business days.
How do I provide or update my tax exemption certificate?
To provide your tax exemption certificate please ensure your UNFI Easy Options application has been approved, and you have signed into your account. You must be signed into account to continue to the next step.
Please continue here to provide your tax information. After completing this step it might take up a few hours to be reflected in your shopping cart. UNFI Easy Options applications, including tax information is reviewed and approved during business hour, and non-holidays.
If I am non-profit organization, may I purchase from the website?
Of course! We require a Tax Exemption Certificate upon registering for an account with UNFIEasyOptions.com. Once we have verified this documentation, your account will be marked as tax exempt, and you will not be charged sales tax upon purchase
What types of products do you carry?
We offer a wide variety of shelf-stable grocery and wellness items, particularly natural, organic and good-for-you products! Additionally, we offer an expansive selection of gluten-free, vegan, fair-trade, GMO-free, and kosher items to stock in your store, vending machine, check-out line, break room, gym, café, restaurant, or office.
If you are a food service or catering business, we also offer bulk ingredients, beverages and coffee in a variety of weights and sizes.
How do I place orders that exceed a quantity of 280?
We are here to help with those big orders. If you have an order that exceeds 280 items please contact firstname.lastname@example.org, and we can help you place your order.
How do you ship the products?
Depending upon order size and distance, your order will either arrive via UPS, UPS SurePost (in partnership with USPS), or LTL delivered via ABF Freight. In the case that your order ships via ABF Freight, we will reach out to you to verify the delivery address and requirements prior to shipment.
Where are my orders shipped from?
We ship products from one or more of our eCommerce distribution centers, located in Hudson Valley, N.Y., Philadelphia, Pa., Gilroy, Calif. and Racine, Wis.
When orders are submitted, we will route your order to the warehouse closest to your delivery location with available inventory. If inventory is not available at the warehouse closest to your delivery address, we will incur the additional cost and no additional charges will be made on your account.
How long will it take to receive my order?
We ship products from one or more of our four eCommerce distribution centers, located in Hudson Valley, N.Y., Philadelphia, Pa., Gilroy, Calif. and Racine, Wis.
The estimated delivery time is 2-7 business days from when the order was originally placed.
Please allow additional delivery time for orders shipped a significant distance from your delivery location or for special carrier requirements (e.g., no receiver present, signature required, etc.).
Do you have any other types of eCommerce solutions?

What about discount codes?
On occasion we may offer a Discount code for a specific promotion or duration. With any coupon the following applies:
You can only use one discount code per order. You cannot “stack” coupons.
Discounts are for a specific period and not honored on orders placed after expiration.
Discounts are only on in stock items. There is no “rain check” offered to apply a discount if an item comes back in stock after a discount code expires.
We offer 100s or 1000s of items on sale each month to all customers with or without a discount code. When a sale item is placed into the shopping cart that has a discount code applied, no additional discount code discounts will be offered on the sale item. For example, if an item is on sale 20% and you have a 5% discount code, the price in the cart for that item will reflect the 20% off discount, NOT 25%.
What is your backorder policy?
UNFI Easy Options (UEO) does not accept and/or process backorders. UEO works hard not to accept an order unless we have the item in stock. However, between the time an order is placed and the order is picked, on occasion the item may go out of stock. If one or more item on Customer’s order is not in stock and/or is not available, the item is removed from the order and the balance of the order is shipped. A refund will be issued to the customer's credit card for items which do not ship.
Does UNFI Easy Options offer a dropship program?
UNFI Easy Options does not offer dropship. UNFI Easy Options is a business-verified buyer’s site for retailers, eTailers and other small to medium sizes businesses. We deliver directly to your business, home or warehouse. Note: UNFI Easy Options customers CANNOT ship directly to Amazon or dropship to consumers. How do I request a quote?
Do you need to place a BIG order? We’re happy to help. Request a quote for orders that are $6,000 or more, and for orders with 280 items or more. Please contact us at email@example.com.
Can I download a product catalog?
UNFI Easy Options offers a product catalog for customers to download. To download the product file, you must be signed in. The link to download a .CSV file is under My Account/Catalog. The file includes SKU, UPC, Today’s Price, MAP, Name, Brand, Product Description, eComm Reseller Restricted, and Selling Unit.
Unfortunately we cannot cancel an order once it has been submitted at checkout.
Can I change the ship to address after I’ve submitted an order?
We will ship to the shipping address provided during order checkout. Please double check that you have selected the correct shipping address for your order before submitting the order. We cannot make any edits to the shipping address after the order has been placed. As a reminder, we can only ship to your home, business or warehouse. We cannot ship directly to Amazon or dropship to your customers.
What is your policy regarding product expiration date?
UNFI guarantees a minimum shelf life of 30 days. In accordance with UNFI policy, UNFI will not issue a refund for expired merchandise if the order was shipped within 30 or more days from the "best by" date.
